Knowing that I could drive by a house and see it that evening since we had Matt was a stress relief in the process of finding a house. When we found the one and made the offer he mentioned some details about us to the agent and the owners which made the owners want us to have the house. The owners were selling this house under a program as a short sale. The bank disqualified the owners and so Matt took the matter into his own hands researched the program in detail and then advised them what to do at that point. Due to Matt going above and beyond we were able to get into our first house. I would definitely recommend Matt to friends and family. |

Paul Cantu worked with me to find just the right house for me and he did it. It was a great experience and I will tell you the things I appreciated most about working with Paul. First it might be helpful to know something about my requirements for the home buying process. I was one of those buyers that had not narrowed down my search to a neighborhood or style or size. I looked at lots of houses from new construction to homes built in the 1910’s. I looked at houses that were in Central South or West Seattle.
Paul and I looked at houses ALL OVER the place. We looked on weekdays weekends mornings and evenings and Paul was always fully engaged in the process—giving me good feedback and insight about what we were seeing. I changed my mind about submitting an offer on one house after Paul had written the offer and his response was right on target. Since I could not get over my reservations and Paul told me that I had to be comfortable with my decisions and that we would just keep looking.
There were a couple of occasions when Paul was traveling for a few days and not available to show me properties. He arranged for one of his associates to show me the properties I wanted to see on those days and that worked well too.
Paul knows his stuff and is a good agent. He knows neighborhoods and has good analysis about pricing. But many people will tell you those things. One of the things that is HUGELY important to me personally is that Paul treats people well. Over the months we worked together I witnessed Paul interact with my family members homeowners and their families and other agents. These people were all different races ages and class backgrounds. He was always professional and respectful of them. Even in critiquing the property Paul never criticized people or their families harshly – even when a few folks had poor conditions in their homes.
Paul is not just a great agent-- he is a good guy.
